A selection of Life Drawings

These are a selection of drawing from life. i haven't added them all because they are more or less the same and these are just the best of the lot and they best show what i've done. the main aim is to get to know the human form through life drawings, this is the best way to understand the proportions and shading. also the poses are relatively quick forcing quick drawing, which is useful. the only way i know to improve this is to do more life drawing.

Cinematography Project

Quite possibly the best thing i've ever seen, Jamie's and Matt's editing is top notch, and the music, i love it

Majestic Pirate Animatic

a majestic animatic. first off, i should have made a few more attempts at the dialogue, i screw up a couple of time quite audibly, well to me. at the center of the animatic i didn't change or sequence the images and instead its more like a showreel, but that was a result of doing the audio before the visual. and i had done at least ten layers of audio and i just didn't want to fiddle with it as i fixed the visual, and the visual works well enough to get away with that.

the frames of the pirate storyboard, unfortunately after the hand in i lost the original full page images so i cannot give the dialogue to go with it, but i'll add the animatic so you can experience it your self instead these are pen and pencil on paper, its the same problem i have with storyboards, i need more dynamic shots, like those of the captain and less level shots, and allow more close ups to allow for better acting, again there just needs to be a few frames in between to further illustrate whats going on to allow the viewer to understand and not just me. another problem i found out half way through was that it would help so much if i used a standard template, but i had to stick with my version because then it would be more consistent, so next storyboard it will be in a standard template.
