Dramatic Walk

this has the problem of having the overly exaggerated nature of my last walk cycle, not the Monty one, as the knees are brought up a lot higher than they would come in real life, but again i do enjoy the exaggerated walk cycle style. the arms as i notice now, don't act as if they are in a walk cycle, but the still move giving a more natural nature to the walk than if they weren't moving, but if i wish i could have had the arms swing like pendulums and the flowing effect that cloth gets when flapped.

Dramatic throw

Dramatic throw, one of my stop motion works. I do find it hard to pace the movements but i am still good enough for it to be overly obvious, but the reason for this and less for the other animations is because i can layer the previous layer and the model will stay in any position i put it in, except this stop motion puppet, as the laws of reality way it down too much.

Monty Walk

this maybe the only 3D video i can show as the other improved fox jump is apparently too big or something. This walk is very ridiculous but i think that was part of the brief as it is called the Monty walk, as in Monty Python's Ministry of silly Walks. However i fear the up and the down are too exaggerated, but i like it enough to keep it this way. also note how he walks out of it normally, somehow exaggerating the already exaggerated walk.

Dramatic Walk

this walk was done following a little guide on the walk cycle, which explains the exaggerated nature of the walk, but i love that exaggerated nature of that walk. i added a cape to the walk as a flourish to it, it isn't as good as i would have hoped, as it feels a little more like paper than a billowing cape but i couldn't do it better, so i left it. the cape also was a little way to try out the flowing effect in 2D

Dramatic Head turn

A dramatic head turn. fist 2D animation, and i loved it. i was simple and only had the eyes close as that was a necessity, but i could have had the hair sway and or the shirt sway as well but i didn't want to put all of my time into doing it so i left those out.

this is the penultimate strip to the Kung Fu Grape. i have been focusing in on the important parts of the story, the parts where he is left to fend for himself, the ending and his change from timid Grape into Kung Fu Grape.
the colours are the same as the last Kung Fu Grape storyboard except for the Blood. i wasn't sure if to give the proper green juices of this type of grape, or say screw the already dead realism and add more ability to sympathise with the grape and give him red blood.
as for the golden light destroying the undead food, this was an on the moment thing, but i am pleased with it as it explains why they hid in the first place, and it would be acceptable as they are unnatural and this story has little to no realism in it so i think you can suspend your disbelief for that as well.

This is meant to be the first strip of the storyboard detailing the sad part of the story, as the grape is left behind by the Hand and the light happiness of the world before is now gone.
The use of colours was more of a result of not wanting to colour it all properly and focusing in on what is important. what is important is the hero grape, and the golden light slowly leaving his world leaving behind only the cold grey of the lower part of the fridge.

Kung Fu Grape stances

Here are some Kung Fu moves for the grape. They are closer to studies into the movements of Kung Fu so i have a list of move sets to draw from when doing the storyboard, and also so i have a rough idea how one would move if one was doing kung fu.
